Harvest Thanksgiving Weekend
Our fundraising over the weekend was for Christian Aid

Retiring collections at both churches raised a total of £400, including £75.00 from Junior Church, with a further £52.25 available through Gift Aid tax recoverable.

Our Harvest Supper raised a further £532.80, yielding a grand total of £985.05. Thanks to all who contributed in any way to this splendid result.The demands upon Christian Aid, and, of course, the other aid agencies are higher than ever so we look forward to our annual Churches Together event, “Sing for Your Supper” in the Hall at Holy Cross on Friday 11 November.

Christ Church Toddler Groups
These well-established, friendly, groups for pre-school children with their parents or carers are held every Thursday during school term times 9.45am - 11.15am and 1.15pm - 2.45pm at Broomwood School, Mainwood Road, Timperley. Please contact Pauline Linney 0161 980 3795 for more details and availability of places in either group.

A Parish Group for Young People
This Group, now known as the 'After 8s', since it is for children aged 8 upwards, (but inspired by the confection!) began meeting in Holy Cross Chapel on Sunday 23 January during morning worship at 10.45am and continues to meet at that time, normally on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month..
