Stained Glass Window at Holy Cross

A stained glass window has now been installed in the porch door at Holy Cross. This concludes a project started by the Junior Church many years ago and taken up by the parish. The window represents the congregations of St Andrew's and St Catherine's churches which joined  to form the congregation of Holy Cross. On the left of the photograph is St Catherine's wheel on which she died and on the right the fishing net of St Andrew, these come together as Holy Cross in the top centre. The Junior Church is acknowledged by figures of children praying. These are on the bottom two panels but unfortunately not visible in the photogragph which had to be taken at night in order to show the porch and the illuminated glass in its entirety. The window was dedicated by Bishop Robert on Sunday 6 September in a service of Holy Communion.

Christ Church Toddler Groups

These well-established, friendly, groups for pre-school children with their parents or carers are held every Thursday during school term times 9.45am - 11.15am and 1.15pm - 2.45pm at Broomwood School, Mainwood Road, Timperley.
